A new customer approached Alphatec 2000 Group ltd to assist in the recommissioning of their Crossfield Autotron Press Register control system which they had been unable to use for a number of years.
Our team attended site and found that the motor control system was incorrectly programmed and set about reprogramming the length and side registration motor for the 5 colour packaging press. The system had been in place on the machine for 33 years. Testing was carried out on various stock including laminate and foil as small as 10micron.
On leaving site the machine was in full production.
