Our long standing customer in the south of England came to Alphatec 2000 to assist them in the purchase of a machine to produce a specific type of finish to their products.
With Alphatec 2000, we supplied a Duplo Square back machine and our engineering team then integrated the machine into the customers current Horizon bookletmaker system allowing continuous production and reducing the need for extra handling of the job.
Alphatec 2000 also added a further 2 Hohner stitching heads to the current Horizon Spf20 bookletmaker to allow 4 stitchers/staples to be inserted into the book at in one motion.
The project was delivered, installed and modified in just 2 days and was running in full production on the 2nd day.
