Upgrade register control equipment on a wallpaper packaging press
Our partners required us to replace the old register system with the latest advanced software and equipment available. During the project we installed a new electrical control cabinet with the assistance of a the customers engineering team. Pulling in new cables to each print unit and installing a new line shaft encoder. All mechanical work was done. The end user is a wallpaper manufacturer who uses specialised inks including UV. The system has been designed to allow for these weaker signals from the inks. We then programmed the software and ran system static checks before trial runs were completed and operator training carried out.
We successfully completed the work and the system is now in full production.
