A maintenance visit was requested by our partners at the request of the end user to bring their system back into service after a period of no or limited maintenance.
Working on the largest gravure presses in the world our team carried out the required work. The biggest issue found on site was caused by dust contamination on the motorised bars. We removed the 3 x 4.5 metre motorised bar from each of the presses. The bars were then stripped down & cleaned, parts replaced as necessary. The team also repaired damaged fibre optic & signal cables. Manual scanning heads, mirror bars & belts were deep cleaned & the system was recalibrated to reduce product waste on machine start up.
