With our partners we were asked to upgrade the software & hardware on Emerson & Renwick Gravure press.
The Press was running a very old DOS based system which was becoming problematic & the replacement parts were becoming increasingly difficult to obtain.
Our specialist upgraded all the required PCB’s & replaced the main communication card with an ethernet based PCB. This will increase longevity of the system & allow remote access support for our technical specialist if any issues arise in the future offering the customer our fully back up support.
The monitor was also replaced for a touchscreen solution.
Static checks and motor tests were carried out before running tests on the machine.
Customer operator & maintenance training was then given. The system was returned to production before originally planned.
