The customer is running a ZMR 2 Colour large format web press. After the 12 year register control PC became corrupt and now obsolete, we were approached to help resolve the issues.
The solution the customer opted for was to replace the old obsolete PC & panel monitor with a Fan-less embedded PC with connecting touch screen enabling the system to be more functional & user friendly for the operators. The program software was also upgraded to the latest version & so was the hardware EPROM’s in the system control cabinet.
Once the system was set up & tested, the operators were trained in the operation & the system was put straight into production.
