Alphatec 2000 Ltd were approached and asked to assist in the upgrading of Register control and Cut off control software and hardware on a Komori web press. The old software had failed and the operators were running high levels of waste. Most of the work was carried out during production with programing work pre done and testing was kept to a minimum. Mounting of bars and cable pulling was undertaken during machine make ready times allowing production to continue.
We successfully completed the work and the system is now in full production.
